Great location. That’s all the greatness I can give this one.
We have a PJ’s where I live and it is hands down better than any of the coffee shops around. Better than D&D or “Starbuts” or the other niche locals. The coffee’s are good as well as the food and service.
Well, unfortunately this location does not carry on that company tradition. We’ve been to the location quite a few times due to its location and namesake. Every time I swear the workers seem to be working off no sleep and a hangover. Bathroom always look like there was a rave in it the night before and I’ve never been in there and seen a clean table.
Staff was friendly and served our coffee and breakfast quickly. I had the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a butter rum cappuccino. The cappuccino was quite good with just enough flavoring. The biscuit was light and flakey. My wife had the pralines and cream latte which was very good. She also bacon, egg and cheese bagel on an everything bagel. It was also very good. Unfortunately the beignet machine was broken so we didn’t get to try the beignets.
Great selection of coffees, pastries and custard. Comfy seating !
Had been wanting to check this place out, and finally was able to without the crowds during winter break. They did not have full-sized beignets available but the “beignet bites” were tasty. The drinks and our other food were too. Comfortable seating was available and the service was friendly. Requires more effort to get to than some of my usual spots in town, but I will definitely come back during another slow time!
My kids always love going to PJ’S to get different non coffee drinks or snacks.
