Did you know that most small towns don’t have breakfast diners anymore? We are so lucky to have multiple options for breakfast in Phenix City, AL/Columbus, Ga. Grit and Grind sits at the top of our breakfast restaurant list along with Cafe 431 and First Watch. Today, we had the pleasure of Larrissa being our waitress, and she was quick and attentive. Food came out fast and looked great. The food tasted fantastic as always. I ordered the chicken biscuit (sub tomato gravy, usually comes with sausage gravy). Both my kids ordered the french toast with their preferred toppings. Thanks for a great breakfast experience.
The food and service was well worth the money. I had the biscuit with chicken and tomato gravy yummmmm!!! Our waitress was awesome!! I did get a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee hoped it was as good as my son and daughters coffee but nope…totally disgusting. I literally got sick from it at Winn-Dixie when we left…only had 2 sips of it. Took it home to strains some of the cinnamon out of it and was really grossed out…globs of slimy ewwww…
A fantastic breakfast! My Sizzle Bowl (grits, eggs, etc) was yummy! My wife enjoyed her classic breakfast, friends enjoyed flapjacks and French Toast. I’d definitely return!
Amazing customer service and food. Large menu that is easily mixed & matched to suit your wants. Seasonal specials are my favorite and the regular menu never fails. I wish they were closer to my home so I could eat here more frequently.
This place is absolutely amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the employees, and other guests. They aim to please from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Sometimes you want some breakfast, others a little brunch, or how about some lunch! Whatever you’re in the mood for give this place the opportunity to earn your local home town support!
