    Just left the store after standing in an insanely long line for the self checkout. Only 2 self checkouts were open and one register. Lines were backed up as far as the eye could see. Meanwhile, several (and I mean several) employees were sitting around on their phones ignoring what was going on. Absolutely ridiculous

    Madison hwy 20. The absolute worst customer service. Very rude and Non Helpful at all. Ask to speak to the manager and the lady said she was a team leader, I said do you have a manager here. The manager came. I was trying to swap out an air mattress that I bought 10 days ago. 1st lady said it had to be the exact same one. They did not have the same one (queen)so I picked up a full and said I would like a refund for the queen and I’ll buy the full. NO YOU can not do that. Has to be the exact one. I said you don’t have it. She then said I had to go to another Walmart and swap it out. All I ask was for someone to help me call to see where to go. I didn’t mind going to another just don’t want to go to them all. They both laughed and said we don’t have time to help you. You will have to go or call them all to find the one that has what you’re needing

    A few of the cashiers are really nice but most of them are not. I usually go to the self-checkout because of that. And the electronics department is bare and the employees are rude. I stood at the checkout register for about 5 minutes just staring at the cashier who was putting out stock. He saw me and my son standing there to make a purchase. Another employee had said something to him about us waiting but we were obviously not priority. Bad customer service!

    Bad setup for self checkout. One register is for some strange scan and go that no-one ever uses. There is consistently one register that is broken. Be prepared to wait at the checkout no matter what time of day you go. This store needs to be upgraded to the configuration where there are 10-12 self checkouts open at all times to cut down on wait time.

    I had the worst experience at this Walmart today. The so called manager on duty was very rude. Not really sure but I think her name may be Sylvia. She raised her voice at me after I asked her for the general manager. She was also smart mouthing me telling me that’s the wrong name. I told her this was the name I got from corporate customer service. After I told her what corporate customer service said about the merchandise I was trying to purchase. She smart mouthed me again by saying all you have to do is let us know the price online so we can price match it. I asked her did you not hear what I said. Then I ask her is she always this way to customers. She was getting argumentive with me. I had to say I just want to purchase the items that corporate customer service told me to ask for general manager about. Then she finally called someone to customer service to help me. Someone else came over and the same rude one too. The rude one was still telling me about a price was not correct with the item I picked up. I told them again what corporate customer service said and also about the price tag that is on the item in the store. The other lady ended up giving me the price that I saw on the price tag in the store.

    I’ve spent over thousand dollars in the last month in Walmart. A bad experience like this have really made me not want to spend my money here again. The price tags are not matching the items when you go to the register. The rude so called manager act like the customer is in the wrong instead of solving a problem. This really makes Walmart look bad.
