Love it here and all my co-workers!! Couldn’t be happier to serve and be a part of a sweet, caring team that also love their customers!
This is a very nice store. I met the managers and toured. The grand opening was a huge success with over a thousand community members along with several military personnel in attendance. There was quite a show with buggy riding, fireworks , singing and more.
The store is just gorgeous with a Starbucks cafe inside. There is also a coin machine an ATM and a big display of mayonnaise just inside the door. The cafe and even the bathrooms are very nice. They sell firewood with a beautiful display outside. The buggies are great with CUPHOLDERS and genius marketing panels along with safety straps for children. The mini buggies are adorable! The grocery pick up kiosk is located outside and is very nice and refrigerated. The propane exchange is very nice with different sizes and lower prices for members with cards. They have a WALK UP pharmacy! How convenient. I’m sharing pics of info to transfer prescriptions or to inquire about employment opportunities. Great store and I’m sure the community will gain a lot from this store moving to town.
I’ve visited Food City several times. I haven’t bought much here, though. Their prices on everyday groceries are higher than most groceries in the area. Their produce is really nice. They have a lot of choices in ready made foods for meals. You can go in and buy a hot meal to take home. Unfortunately, for me, that isn’t something I do. I have a number of dietary restrictions. Food City is one place I go to get items my regular groceries don’t have. My daughter has to have a special milk. Only two stores locally carry it. Food City is one. Their best prices are on their sale items.
We had came in & they had a sale on drinks. We bought some. When we got home we noticed on our receipts that we weren’t charged right. My aunt called, the lady said she would fix it. When we went back she fixed it & was very nice.
We’ve been here several times since they’ve opened and this is probably my new favorite grocery store. They have a great variety of different foods that other grocery stores don’t have. Their deli & bakery put out some great selections of delicious foods to choose from. Their produce is displayed beautifully and is always fresh. They have a fresh peanut butter station which is pretty cool, we got crunchy, honey roasted peanut butter today that tastes great. There is a good selection of different cheeses and bread, and they have a soup station and a wing station where you can get hot food, ready to eat. Everything is clean and well organized. The store member cards that they give you are actually worth using. When we went there tonight and signed up for the card, it took $25 off our total (we spent like $300 on groceries) and if you use the card every time you shop and shop there often, their fuel rewards are absolutely worth it to use at their service station. 15¢ off per gallon for so many visits/points and certain Wednesdays of the month offer 45¢ off per gallon after so many visits/points. Their prices aren’t the lowest in town but they’re not the highest either compared to Publix and other high-end grocery stores. I’ve always liked Food City and I’m happy to finally have one in our town.
