I went into the Krispy Kreme on tonight and the lady in the front did not show me any type of good service at all. I told her if I had to wait for fresh donuts then I would and that there would be no issue. She goes on to say this is all we have even though fresh donuts were being made in the back. I received the donuts and they were cold and hard and I told her I could not take these to someone as a gift. She was not kind at all and proceeded to say “you’ll have to wait so gone and have a seat” I was waiting and another lady came from the back saying she has other stuff to do and didn’t want to make anymore. This is lazy and very unprofessional. I guess I have to go during the morning crew because they are always nice and I never have a problem.
Approached by an employee from the counter asked about the hot donuts (RED SIGN WAS ON). Was getting an order of donuts and she came across quite agitated. Then we said we wanted to add the warm glazed doughnuts. She became more agitated and said it would be a while. And began helping another customer. We left without our order. As we were leaving the youngest person in the car mentioned how the racism from her was so apparent.

I learned that the new Hershey’s chocolate collection came out today and was excited to try their donut collaboration. I went in at 12:30 and bought two donuts. They weren’t hot or even fresh. They were the equivalent of any cold donuts you could buy anywhere else. I took them home and microwaved them. That didn’t help with the flavor profile very much. I could have bought a donut and placed a fresh baked brownie on it and it would have been far better. Save your money. It wasn’t worth the 500 calories.
Quality product, great coupon deals and friendly staff. If you can get them when the “Hot and fresh” sign is lit up. You’ll thank me!
Always a great place. Sure prices have changed in the past couple years but we can’t change inflation. Love seeing the long time workers there who stick together and form a great team. Tried some of the new doughnuts but we did not get a photo before we started snacking.
