I’ve never really been a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts, but after hearing about the Beyond Breakfast Sausage Sandwich on the radio one morning I decided to pay them a visit! I’ve had the beyond burger PLENTY of times at home, and this sandwich was really good! It was always piping hot when I got it.
The customer service was amazing and a great start to my day. I’ve been back at least 4 times now. I’ll definitely try some other things on the menu.
If you look through my reviews, this will be the first one I’ve ever given that’s negative. I was at this location on the 23rd of October, and the African-American woman who served me was the rudest person I have ever come across in my life. I waited patiently at the counter while she glared at me on three different occasions but never even said hello. Finally, the cook came over and said hello took my order. During this process, the look on her face of pure hatred not for me but for the job was quite evident. Being an ex franchise owner, this woman wouldn’t last one shift working for me. All I know is if you don’t like your job and what you’re doing you need to change it and feel better about what you’re doing because it will help you when you finally grow up and realize happiness is contagious and people expect at least adequate customer service.
Giving this 3 stars but it in no way is due to the effort by the employees! Numerous times I’ve gone in and there have been only 2 employees to handle the counter, drive thru, and heat up food/make coffee/make drinks/etc. Today at 10:30am there was only one poor young woman behind the counter. She looked absolutely exhausted from running around doing all the tasks herself. I understand it’s hard to find employees sometimes but at least allow the hardworking employee there to close the drive thru or something if she’s the only one. They have also run out of many flavors of donuts before noon on a few occasions when I’ve had the craving for one in the afternoon.
Go to ANY other coffee shop. Seriously. We were able to order quickly (and the young man working the register was friendly and polite), BUT, it took ten minutes to get our food, and then ANOTHER five minutes to get our coffee. The hashbrowns were somehow both burned AND soggy. Horrible, horrible experience.
The drive thru is a little rough, but the service and the food and drinks are great! I’m allergic to pork so I appreciate and enjoy that they have the option of turkey sausage.
