I don’t get to Rock Hill often, but I made sure to stop by Mado when I heard they were a Black owned French bakery. I got there later on in the afternoon, so a lot of goodies had already been bought. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions I had.
I thought the owners did an excellent job of converting the space of a former bank. I’m looking forward to visiting again.
I love these Pecan caramel cookies. I miss them, but I move away from Rockhill to New Jersey. I miss those cookies so much. I will pay for delivering a dozen to me here in New Jersey. The owners are an amazing couple, and the bakery cafe atmosphere is lovely and unique. The place was a bank before now you can enjoy the vault safe area as a nice lounge place to sit and enjoy your cup of coffee and pastry and read your favorite book. Really love this place, and those amazing cookies are the best. (Owner) attention-Let me know if you are willing to send me by mail a dozen of those cookies, and I will happy pay. 😊
Went for a little desert date with my son and he said “this is the best food I have ever had!”! Your taste buds will thank you! The staff is so incredible and the bakery is out of this world! We definitely will be coming back at least twice a month.
While it is a bit pricey on some items, you are getting what you pay for which is a trip down a delectably sweet experience. The creaminess of the three items we shared… it is taking all I can to not go down more to Rock Hill to indulge. The friendliness of the owners is top notch too in addition to their pastry skills.
I went to this bakery because one of my friends recommended it here. The bread was more delicious than I expected 🙂
I ordered a chocolate croissant, a regular croissant, and some breads that were difficult to pronounce (>_<)>
Every single thing was delicious!! If it were closer to my house, I would definitely visit once or twice a week. Haha, I highly recommend this bakery! I think it’s better than other French bakery 🙂
