I always visit a bakery during my travels and this one seemed like a winner online. The store it behind so other stuff, so I never knew that area existed. The store itself is bright and clean, but small. I was expecting more selection based on the info online. When I saw the prices I wanted to leave, but I had committed to this. $25 later I have 2 cake jars and 1 cookie. I tried the peaches and cream which was good but didn’t have fresh peaches. The cream cheese icing was delicious and the cake nice and moist. I only had one tiny piece of cookie which was covered in a thick icing (the ants I didnt know I had liked it). Overall it was okay, but a little pricey.
This beautiful, totally on trend little bakery is more than just glorious icing and cake. Do yourself a HUGE favor and book a class with your friends, family or partner and get there FAST & HARD for a cooking class. Pasta, pairings and my absolute fave was this Charcuterie class. Lindsey and Ash were the EPITOME of southern sweetness as me and the hubby enjoyed a date afternoon sailing down a salami river and wedging cheeses like a boss, turning average pepperonis in to roses and giggling the whole way through. We left with 3 huge boxes of food and got the full tour of this sweet spot. DO NOT pass up the opportunity to visit this incredibly charming local hot spot. You will NOT be disappointed. (we need more stars for places like this)
Fabulous! We signed up for the Pasta Making Class! Best decision ever! Not only did we learn something new, we also made new friends and ate a delicious meal. We left with some extra goodies for future use! Highly recommend!
We had my daughter’s birthday party here and everyone couldn’t get over how cute it was. Lindsey took care of literally everything.. all we had to do was show up! We loved how interactive & intimate the party was and I know my daughter will always remember this special day. Thank you butter and whisk!
Traveling from up north Rhode Island to South Carolina for 1 week to see family. Been going to different places trying some of the best food around town and as recommended by a family member we tried butter + whisk and the cookies were absolutely AMAZING!!! I had never in my my life had a chocolate chip cookie as good as this one! It was still warm, so gooey and so chocolaty it was just the absolute BEST!
So clean, great atmosphere and great cookies!
You must try this place if you haven’t yet!
