5 Reviews on “Old Europe Coffee and Desserts”
Great little spot on main street. Popular European cafe with desserts, pastries, coffee, etc. Quite the line on the evening of Halloween night (a Tuesday). The young guy working there was very helpful and friendly. He seemed to be working alone, but was quick w service.
We ordered a vanilla latte, and a vanilla honey steamer for my son. Both great!
We ordered the strawberry cake and tiramisu to share. The man was nice enough to make sure it didn’t have food coloring for my son who’s allergic. The cakes seem very fresh and scratch made. Delicious! And affordable too for being good quality. Many great items to choose from!
We enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance. The jazzy and European music they had playing was great and really made the ambiance!
We will be back!
Outstanding pastries! The service was fast and friendly. A quaint little shop in Grenville you shouldn’t miss. Delicious blueberry scones were not dry. The croissant was buttery and light. The eclair was out of this world.
Lovely little cafe with lots of light and delicious treats. I got a hazelnut cortado which was incredible. Enough to make me want to come back just for that, but it was also quaint and quiet and a great place to sit for a little while. The almond croissant was amazing and I wish I had gotten some things to go because all of it looked SO GOOD. I’ll just have to come back for another visit then!
Oh my! You must stop in this lovely little coffee and pasty shop!
It immediately feels warm and welcoming when you come in. This isn’t the corporate cookie cutter place.
There are plenty of coffee choices as well as hot tea. A large pasty case winks at you and says don’t forget me… And you can’t! These delights are made fresh daily BY THEM and you can choose from breakfast sweet and savory to dessert. Definitely carry something home for dessert and they wrap it up nicely in a box. I had a lemon blueberry scone that was perfect with with hot tea. I carried home two chocolate crossaints and they were not too sweet, perfect!
They even have fresh flowers on the table.
Stop in! This is marked on my faves list.
Sweet little shop. Everyone was so friendly. We bought a variety to tryout and didn’t get a picture of the bread pudding, because we ate that one too quickly before realizing we wanted a picture 😆 carrot cake was the best thing there!
