This is one of the best bakeries in Charleston. It’s in a simple building right next to Highway 17 with its own free parking in the West Ashley area. The selection is excellent. You can get cupcakes, pies, cakes, bars, quiche, cookies and macarons, as well as coffee and more. The staff was so nice and accommodating, even near closing time. You can dine in, with plenty of tables available. The space is friendly and simple. The prices are reasonable. We recommend this spot 100%, Check out my photos for specifics of what we ate. It’s so tough in our region to find bakeries that do small pies or slices, so this was a treat!

Drive past all the time and never stop by. I’m glad I finally stopped. Parking is easy! Great breakfast/brunch stop. On the go, or if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee and food. Have an assortment of coffee, breakfast food, desserts, fresh cakes, and pies. The service was great and will be back soon to try something different. It’s probably the best bakery in Charleston!

Upsides: Scones and croissants the size of a toddler’s head! Spacious seating area with a couple nooked-off tables for intimate conversations. A plant in every line of sight brings the outdoors in. Back kitchen and storage viewable to patrons. Open display shelves for local products. Employees are well informed on bakery items and friendly with customers. This bakery does lots of pickup orders. Great to order for parties and events!

*downsides: all the exposed and open shelving/kitchen can make this space feel cluttered to the eye. Long hallway to bathroom is narrow with backstock storage.

Last minute cake order that was graciously accommodated for a 60th wedding anniversary. Everyone loved it!! If you haven’t tried the almond cake with raspberry jam filling, you don’t know what you’re missing.
Will be back to try other goodies! They all looked so delicious sitting in the cases.
    Thanks again!

All bakery items are incredible and very affordable. They have a few healthy options as well. Coffee is great. They sell local beer and wine. There is a little kid play area that is clean. They also have fresh flowers on all the tables. This will be a weekly pit stop for me and my kids!
