Once my go to for groceries. This place has gone downhill. Produce is not very fresh. Many items not in stock. Not to mention the raise in prices has made it one of the more expensive grocery centers. Used loyalty card to get items in a BOGO sale, but was charged for both items. Had to have it refunded, which was quick and easy at least. On the bright side, sale prices on mayonnaise and butter were phenomenal! Recommend sales. But shop elsewhere for main groceries to save money.
This is a great grocery store boarding on upscale but with house brand values in some items. I love the prepared food options, the in house Starbucks and WiFi, the points program and gas discounts and the broad selections. I wish they carried MorningStar Farms brand and Silk Almond milk Yogurt Vanilla Unsweetened. I’ll check with customer service. Prices are high, especially with Aldi across the street. There’s a great app with the ability to order ahead or just see what’s in stock or what aside to find it on. Great place when I can afford it.
Love the pharmacy people, loathe the rest. Everyone we come across, especially at checkout seems as though they wish they weren’t here. 10am Sunday, one live checkout open. No problem, I’ll do my own full buggy. Halfway through, the two bag platform of scanned items is full. So I put them on the floor. This triggers a stop, and the only way to continue is to “Request Assistance”. The response from the attendant is “What’s the problem?” After explanation of the obvious, he scanned his ID, and walked away.
Ingles profits have undoubtedly never been better. Maybe pay employees enough that I can not be such a burden to them.
This is my last resort for groceries typically, due to the prices. Most of the staff is friendly, a few cashiers I tend to avoid but I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I buy a few staples here that I can’t get elsewhere but the prices for things are definitley high. The deli department is typically very helpful.
Amber in the Bakery did a GREAT job, going above and beyond to decorate our grandson’s cake in Minecraft theme when the kit we ordered didn’t come in.
Also, the manager on duty jumped in and fulfilled our helium ballon order better than we ever expected or could have hoped for! Landrum Ingles ALWAYS excels!
