5 Reviews on “Ingles Market”
It’s always fun to go to a new grocery store in a different state. I like to see the different produce, packaging, farms that are used, quantities of popular items, prices, magazines, etc. Ingles is a large, clean, handy grocery store that has all the usual things consumers need. Their bags of potatoes were from large brands I’d never seen before. Frozen pizzas were really expensive. Produce was extensive. Good sized portion of an aisle for gluten free foods. Gift cards, flowers, balloons on hand. Unlike CT, a large variety of basic wine is also sold in their grocery stores in addition to commercial beer. A wall of bulk snacks sold by the pound (nuts, chips, crackers, seeds, mixes) is also part of their merchandise.
I use Ingles everywhere I go if they’re one around. The delicatessen is great for dinner at a reasonable price. Much better than fast food restaurants. I love the homestyle cooking and variety. It’s getting hard to find a good regular meal anymore. I buy most of my groceries at my local Ingles but I use their delicatessen anywhere I see it.
Stopped by to pick up a few things at this Ingles. A nice older store that could be called the Furman University Ingles. Paladins on the outside and Furman flags hanging from the ceiling. A nice change to NOT see Clemson posted every where. Friendly people and the set up is a lot like the Ingles I shop at on Pelzer highway in Easley. It was easy finding what I needed and a fast check out.
I’m grateful for this store. Overall they to a good job on stock and discounts. Their deli isn’t fast at all but it’s ok if you know that and do your other shopping after placing an order.
Lovely gallery, although largely focused on three dimensional works. Lots of still lifes of fruit as well as big collection of multidimensional pop art. Fascinating elevated gallery of large inflatable sculptures of children’s characters and movie paraphernalia. Extensive cafe attached. Free admission and long hours, well worth a pop in for art fans in the area.
