Over all decent. Prices were on par with all other stores in the area. Was a bit more run down than I expected. Other ingles have been better kept. The staff was friendly, and when I went the store was pretty much empty. It was okay.
The beer selection kicked Publix butt however.
I’ll never understand the ignorance of some of these employees especially the baggers that think it’s OK to put whatever they want on top of eggs and bread. Although I have to give my praise to Bailey for seeming like the only bagger in the front who gives a rip about their job. He always packs everything well and is very polite. Will always ask if you need help out to your car and I told him yes last time I went just so I could give him a tip.
Rude management. I had an interview set up with this company recently. I was planning on walking to this interview because I lived close by. However, there was a call for possible tornadoes and had already been severe weather in our area. I called explaining to the manager that I did not feel safe traveling in these conditions much less walking. His response was, “Well that already sounds like a problem if you can’t come in for an interview because of the weather what about work?” Which I found very insensitive since schools in our area are closing down due to the weather being just that bad! I simply replied with, “That’s fine” & hung up the phone. Job seekers and employees know their worth, we do not have to be talking to any type of way just because we are seeking a job. We’re applying to help YOUR company & to help your team. Not to be spoken to in condescending manners. At the end of the day I wanted the job, I didn’t need it. This company is the one that needed the help. & With insensitive management & poor attitudes, I see exactly why they needed it. Also, consider paying more than 13-14 an hr if you plan on being rude. I will never apply at another Ingles again. Stay blessed.
Their deli offers a large variety & the food is delicious. They make their sushi and subs. The sushi rolls are on par with any Japanese restaurant, and I would rather get my subs freshly made there than any other sub restaurant
