Attending a training course for the new job at the Dorchester County Council building and decided to try this place for lunch and was an amazing choice it was. Had the chicken salad on a croissant but was torn between it and the fried bologna sandwich.. so much on the menu will definitely be back to sample all the choices. Love the decor, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the fabulous homemade cooking… Even has ice cream to boot!
Loved this little place. Great food with awesome deserts and ice cream shop. The owner even sat down and chatted with us. Meat Loaf sandwich that says world famous truly is world famous. Drive 2 miles into the heart of downtown and eat here. So glad we stopped on our way from Hilton Head to Indiana
Jumped off I95 for a quick lunch. Wanted a local place to support their business. So glad we found this little gem. Roast beef dip and pulled pork sandwich were tasty. Topped it off with homemade sea salt caramels and a chocolate chip cookie. Friendly and prompt service.
During a recent journey home, my wife and I had the pleasure of discovering Nannie’s Kitchen in St. George, SC, and what an exceptional find it was! As first-time customers, we were immediately made to feel right at home, thanks in large part to the owner, Shane, whose warmth, and hospitality were second to none.
The food was nothing short of wonderful, offering a wide variety of options that catered to every palate. The baked goods, all homemade, looked amazing.
What made our experience even more special was learning that Nannie’s Kitchen is veteran-owned. It’s heartwarming to see the establishment not only thriving but also supporting other veteran-owned businesses, including a local coffee company that supplies their delicious brews.
Nannie’s Kitchen is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination that offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, exceptional food, and a commitment to supporting the veteran community. Thank you, Shane, and everyone at Nannie’s Kitchen, for making our travel home so memorable. We can’t wait to return and indulge in your amazing offerings once again!
Awesome food! Staff made you feel welcomed! With all the locals coming in for lunch, you knew you were in the perfect place for lunch! Will definitely be back!
