Really cool place 😎. The hostess was very nice and welcomed us with a nice smile. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. The food was great and our server Hector gave great recommendations. The hamburger was very tasty. Only problem was I didn’t leave room for one of those great looking desserts 😕 my fault 🙃. Next time traveling this direction a stop here is on the agenda. Thanks to the staff for a great lunch. Love the cat.
This place lived up to the reviews and the pictures I saw. Even coming here on a cool and rainy day, it was still very pleasant being here.
Loved that this place was basically in an old home that had been in the area for years. It felt very homey eating out on the porch.
I loved the OJ and the Staff Favorite “May River Sunshine” cocktail. It was exactly what I needed that early afternoon.
Now, the reason I’m not giving them 4 on service was due to one error or maybe misunderstanding. Me and my sis were told the special salad of the day included blackened Salmon among the other ingredients. However, upon the plate being delivered I was like this is pretty but doesn’t look like any salmon was included.
Despite this, I found the food to be absolutely delicious. It was “the” best meal of my trip. Everything on the plate, despite being chaotic looking, was seasoned to perfection.
Give them a try and don’t forget to go inside and take home some baked goods
The cottage cafe is a good spot for breakfast and lunch. Service is super-friendly and the food is good. I would give it a 4.5 if the option was available. The atmosphere is good, especially if you can get an outside table in good weather. Inside is starting to show its age a bit if you look carefully. But the friendly and quick service makes up for a few flaws elsewhere.
15/10 must to while in Bluffton!! The food is phenomenal, portions are plentiful, staff is so sweet, and the environment is perfect!! We enjoyed the tomato pie, turkey brie sandwich, and a power salad. All were delicious!
Quaint restaurant tucked away in Bluffton, South Carolina. The location is charming with limited seating. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. A variety of breakfast, breakfast treats, and delicious coffee. We enjoyed the Avocodo toast, American scramble, Bacon O’ Bacon Benedict, French toast, and Yogurt with fruit and honey. The food was excellent and the portions large. The atmosphere is so charming. Call ahead to check on the possible wait. Every visit to Hilton Head, South Carolina includes breakfast at The Cottage! Well done!!!!
