I’m gonna start this off by you never know who’s watching. We were just in the self checkout area. The young woman in front of us was checking out her items when a older employee, female, with brown hair proceeded to yell at her and say “you have to scan all of the tomatoes not just one”. The younger woman said that she did scan all 3 and what the employee did next solified that my husband and I will go to Harris Teeter from now on. To sit there and outright accuse her she said & I quote “NO i saw you only scan 1 and only scan 3”. To outright accuse her of theft in crazy. I honestly thought we were on an episode of WWYD. The young woman showed on her screen the 3 tomatoes and the correct weights. Then this “employee” proceeds tells her she has to scan them all together because its more accurate and “faster”.. no apology, no nothing. To try and play it off is disgusting.
You caught the right one of the right day. I can promise you if she would have accused me of theft over 3 tomatoes I’d be talking to a whole attorney. I don’t care if that makes me a “Karen”. That young woman was in TEARS after the whole ordeal outside. I can’t even imagine how embarrassed that girl must have felt with everyone stopping and looking at her. The fact she even kept her composure is beyond me I would have been so angry.
My husband & I wont be back. I don’t think that young woman is coming back either. Shame on you Publix
Always had good subs but not this time 🤢. Got a sub last night and ate half of it, had the worst stomach ache ever, only to find out that the BLACK olives were turning a lighter green/brown molding hue. Not fresh ingredients 🤮 …
I am a long time shopper at this Publix. I have always loved this place. However, in the last 2 years I have experienced horrible bagger results. I used to bring my own bags, but with the extreme poor bagging practices, my bags were being damaged. The baggers were putting too many items inside each bag and tried to use only 1 or 2 bags thus making each bag way too heavy. I have approached 2 managers about this and still the bagging is getting worse. I find tomatoes placed in the bottom of a bag with heavier items placed on top. I have found bananas, grapes and shredded cheese in the bottom of bags with larger, heavier items on top. Why pay more for shredded cheese when it gets smashed together because the baggers pack the bags so poorly. Today, I purchase a few items all placed into two bags. Both were very heavy, but one was so heavy that I had to unload half of the bag into my car before I could lift the bag. Publix used to alway send the bagger out to help customers place bags into their car. I almost never see that service anymore and the bagging practice has gotten worse. In gymnastics, a gymnast can have a flawless routine, but if they don’t stick the dismount, they lose the competition. Bagging the groceries is your dismount. Either I will have to stand over the bagger and give them direction, or do my own bagging. What kind of service is that? My other choice is to take my business to another place.
I have to amend my previous review yes that happed however the store manger personally called me to tell me that that was not write. He apologized and even offered to deliver the cake to me..you will never know how much I appreciated this today thank you
Absolutely horrible customer service. I orderd a spical cake. When I went to pick it up the people at the bakery would not even acknowledge my instance like I was invisible. I know they have a catering department they were not there either. I went to costumer service they called the bakery and they could not be bothered again to get my cake and told the person at the customer service desk to go to catering . No one. Every time I have orded something special this happens even my subs.
If you cant handle your customer base then don’t have special orders.
The Publix Pharmacy is staffed by the most knowledgeable and friendly professionals in the area. They seek to assist, solve problems and help their customers stay healthy and Josh, Brett, Gina, Rick, Felicia and all the others do a great job. 5 stars!
