5 Reviews on “The Corner Spot Cafe”
The corner spot on Steinway Street and 23rd Ave in Astoria is a favorite for locals. I had a frappe and spinach pie and watched some of the football game with a friend – Eagles v Niners. This is a clean and friendly neighborhood spot with a nice selection of sandwiches and Greek pies. It’s still cold out but when it warms up they do have outdoor seating.
This place is so cute and the service is friendly. They do cater to those who need more sweets in their coffee, I overheard a customer request and the barista was fine with the request.
Theres some room for a few people inside the Cafe and outside too. This is my favorite of I come to this city again. I want to say I just had a chocolate croissant here, whatever it was was good and the croissant was super flaky and toasty.
I enjoyed this spot! The iced chai was a bit on the sweeter side but the spice was perfect. I also had a tasty spinach pie. I both picked up a nice 2G2G there and purchased my own beverage. I’d love to go again! There’s no bathroom for patrons but it is a very cute spot right in the corner.
Very nice espresso and coffee. Service is excellent !!
Had a really wonderful croissant here. Was really surprised by the excellent quality. Look forward to returning again.
