In the area vacationing and asked the clerk at Topps for a restaurant recommendation and she told us here. Thrilled she did! Family operated, homemade food and friendly service.

The smoked pulled pork and brisket are fantastic! One of the specials was Homemade Shepherd’s Pie and there wasn’t a drop left.

The salad was fresh along with fresh mushrooms, cucumber and tomatoes. The picture of it could be on a marketing magazine.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A hidden gem and worth the drive.

Absolutely the best Reuben I’ve ever had! The corned beef was awesome. My daughters spaghetti was fantastic and she especially liked the garlic bread. Great service! Our waitress was really friendly and upbeat. Definitely worth a stop!

Awesome spot for incredible comfort / diner food! Stopped in after a long hike and had the burger and my partner had the Reuben with a side of baked beans. INCREDIBLE. The burger seriously made my day and the place is really charming — views of the river and right off the Main Street!

Hands down one of my new places to go!! The hubby and I heard about this place through a friend. We debated for awhile to try it. We are so happy we did! The food was EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh! It honestly felt like we were eating a home cooked meal like our Grandma’s use to make!! You know the food is good when you do not talk your entire time there!

Owned by two hard-working and friendly entrepreneurs, this restaurant has delicious country food! I ate breakfast and loved the home-made sausage, then came back for a killer Ruben with corned beef that’s prepared slowwwwly in house — takes 12 hours. Amazing!! Unpretentious, homey dining room with folksy antiques — and a deck with a view of the river. Love this place.
