Extremely tiny coffee shop with friendly staff and fast service. The drip was the “on the regular” blend from Grazielle. Unfortunately, this has got to be one of the worst black coffees I’ve ever had. The texture was fudge-like but the taste had nothing mentioned in the flavor profile. It tasted very similar to harde (haritaki) powder and was sour. Probably not a brewing issue by the staff, rather a poor blend. The cappuccino was pretty good though, so it seems like they do espresso a lot better than drip here.
Adorable spot around the corner from the hotel we stayed at. Great coffee & friendly staff. More for a quick grab and go cup. There is a small bench or a high top table with two stools to sit at. My hubby and I did drip coffee in our own mugs to go. I asked them to leave room for cream. They asked if I wanted to cream on the side which I appreciated since everyone has different opinions on how much. They placed it in a small pourable metal cup and provided a small plate with metal spoons to stir. Extra bonus imo since there was no garbage and everything was reusable! They had a few different kinds of pastries for purchase as well.
I went there in the morning. My friend recomended the cafe. There was already a line; but i was no problem. I liked the cozy and warm atmosphere in the cafe. I ordered a latte and croissants. I think the croissants are the best in New York.
The best cortado in the city and a chocolate chip cookie that’s to-die-for. The cortados are always extremely smooth and creamy with a delicate flavor. The cookie I once tried was extremely crisp and melted in my mouth. The staff are really friendly as well. Love this place!
