When I walked in, the service was top notch. The barista is was very friendly, helpful in making my decisions and welcoming. The interior was cozy, comfortable seats to where you can sit and work on your essay, paper, screenplay, whatever.

Food and coffee wise, I had two danishes and one cappuccino.

Cheese Danish: tasted cold and stale even after it was warmed up, cheese tasted a little…. different.

Strawberry Danish: this tasted much better than the cheese danish but it wasn’t that good, similar reasons to the cheese danish.

Cappuccino: this is definitely very far from the best coffee I’ve ever had. It had a bitterness unusual for coffee.

I would definitely give them another try for sure.

Cute shop! Small but more seating than I thought. Plugs under the big table. The barista was really kind and also kind to the other customers that came in after me. I got a drip coffee and enjoyed it. I want to come back and try the lattes. They also had ice cream and food.

They have almond, oat and soy milk available.

I highly suggest if you are in the area.

The best coffee shop in Astoria, with amazing pastries, everyday. Directly from lavazza, the best you can try🤤☕️ with a beautiful view and space

Wow is all I can say 😩😔😢 what a bad experiences today at this location. I spotted by before work to grab a few things and let me tell you what happened to me. The lady with the glasses was there alone I waited 8 mins before being attended. I asked for a PLAIN CROISSANT AND BLUE BERRY MUFFIN.

I PAID $13.22 when I saw my receipt I was charged a large cappuccino and a cheese danish!

I asked here “Hey and showed her my recipe you charge me a Large cappuccino and cheese danish. Her response was “ oh the MUFFIN IS $7. In my head I’m like no muffins in NYC COST $7 and she then said the croissant is made fresh didn’t even answer what I was telling her. Then said the croissants are made fresh but I order a plain nothing with a filling which I know if more expensive then a plain croissant. I was flabbergasted and hopeless at that point very disappointed and just walked out. 😔

P.s- the croissant was dry not so fresh like she said and hard.

Best coffee shop in Astoria! Spacious, clean, great design and atmosphere along with friendly staff and delicious pastries. Espresso ice cream is to die for. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Most coffee shops buy their pastries from commercial places, and it is very refreshing to see that Cafe Torino is not one of them and their pastries are locally made! Muffins are really good. I strongly recommend, we walk 20 minutes to get there and we still do it because it is worth it.
