I have been going to this Starbucks since it opened and day after day the staff continues to impress me with their outstanding customer service. It’s amazing how the baristas find a way to make the wait worth while as they greet us with warming personalities and easy-going small talk. Amsterdam, NY sure has some rude customers (being witness of some) and yet still this Starbucks Team continues to empower customers like me to enjoy the best Starbucks Experience. I hope district management recognizes your work and thank you for making it a great experience for me day after day.

Oh my goodness the people behind the counter were so nice and the service was speedy and as always consistently Starbucks flavor and taste. However the interior of the Starbucks is not conducive to sitting and hanging out in a coffee shop. The location is given to extreme amount of drive-thru so I can understand the setup. All that said the staff was so friendly it made up for any discomfort in the restaurant.
DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!!!!! If i could give this store negative stars i would… This is the absolute worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. It took us almost a half hour to get our order, once you’re in the dirve thru line, you’re stuck there. My wife went in to order so we could get our order faster and half the workers were dancing around doing nothing, taking out the trash and sweeping, maybe 2 out the 6 employees were actually working….. Finally we got up to order and the girl literally said “were out of almost everything” they didn’t apologize about the 35 minute wait or anything of that nature… JUST DON’T GO HERE EVER!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS a TARGET Starbucks right next door… Go there instead. WORST STARBUCKS/ STARBUCKS EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
Been here 4 times now. Three strikes and you’re out. Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Thought maybe it was just new store adjustment but they have been opened long enough to have it down pat. No hello when you enter, drive through gets precedence and those poor drivers are pulling their hair out because of the wait. We witnessed the drivers coming into the store from their cars that were stuck in line to order at the counter. We waited 11 minutes at the counter and still no one came to take our order at the register.
My order had been wrong each time. I let it slide the first two visits but the third time I had them remake my drink until it was right. That also took 3 tries. I hope the district manager is paying attention to these reviews. We have waited 18 years to get a free standing Starbucks here in Amsterdam. Luckily our Target one is excellent. I ended up going over to Target for my drink. They are losing a lot of business. I could go on but you get the picture. Go to Target for you correctly made drinks and lovely service.
I use this starbucks daily, never really have an issue, but took off one star as they were randomly closed on a Saturday and I had a mobile order so was out $6 for my drink. I’ve gone many times since opening with no issues, but that one misfortunite incident where they were closed bummed me out. I figured they were having staffing issues and hope they can figure it out. I will definitely go back but to be safe will most likely not mobile order again without knowing 100% that they are open. But honestly, overall happy that this went in way better than the other option, and obsessed with the coffee & shaken espressos.
