This is my one of my local Starbucks in Astoria and it’s my favorite mainly because it’s spacious.
There’s normally a seat when I visit and for some reason I find the ambiance at this Starbucks more relaxing and inviting.
The coffee is the coffee so nothing to be shocked about there. If you like Starbucks coffee then you’ll like this location. 😁
Pro-tip: I normally order ahead via the app. Zero wait time!
Staff are so sweet but this location is understaffed. Long wait times (~10 min) every time. Only 2 hardworking staff members holding down a very busy fort.
Felt bad because I heard them apologizing to several customers about the long wait but it’s not their fault they’re understaffed.
Last time I was here, they made the wrong thing. This time, my drink was 90% ice. Couldn’t physically close the lid without removing several ice cubes. Took one sip and 1/3 of the latte disappeared.
Barista named Angie on Sat 12/9 afternoon had attitude face when faced under stressful conditions. Also responded negatively when asked about the baked goods that was ordered a long time ago. Barista s we’re making drinks and neglected the food orders. Very poor customer service. I already finished my coffee before I received my food.
20 mins wait time for a drink….insane…I tried morning and afternoon. 2 different days of the week and still takes for ever to get a drink.
Not such a great experience I asked for a cookie crumble an got stuck with what tasted like an espresso shaken
