Superofficial very quickly became my favorite spot after my first visit, which was shortly after they opened. The staff and regulars are friendly and the atmosphere is so inviting.
I love to hang out and work on my art, chat with friends, and make new ones.
The menu has something for everyone! I’m a huge fan of matcha lattes, and Superofficial does them right. The Toasted Marshmallow Matcha Latte is my absolute favorite. You can never go wrong with a cappuccino, either.
The owners take so much pride in what they do, and it shows. I’m so grateful to have a shop like this in Rome!
My partner and I stopped here on our way home from the Adirondacks and we will now be adding it as a pit stop every time we’re in the area! Exceptional service and delicious drinks.

I had a great time here. It’s more of a hangout place then a grab and go place but the vibe is great. There’s board games and a fair bit of seating. A bookstore is right next door.
As far as food it’s mostly coffee. They can heat some of their packaged baked goods or make avocado toast. But I recommend the raspberry infused coffee that I drank. This place is dog friendly and has wi-fi.
Superofficial always has the most creative and delicious coffee drinks. My favorite is the espresso egg cream, but that was on a previous season’s menu. They’re always coming up with something new! Welcoming, friendly vibe, so much art to look at and very cool people hanging out there. When in Rome!
I always say “America may run on Dunkin, but librarians run on Superofficial”. Definitely my and several of my coworkers favorite coffee shop! The drinks and snacks are always unique and delicious and I have never had a bad experience with anything I’ve purchased from the shop. The staff are friendly and always have great recommendations on days where I can’t make a decision! Also they’ve gotten to know me and my dietary restrictions and often they make my drink with non-dairy milk before I can even mention it. It’s awesome that they don’t upcharge for oat milk like so many other places do!
The atmosphere is great and the shop really encourages you to hang out for a while. The art gallery is always fun to explore while I’m waiting on a drink or snack!!
The events are always super fun and make me smile. It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an amazing community space where my friends and myself feel instantly welcome.
