I just hosted my daughter’s baby shower this weekend at Milk & Sugar’s “Victorian Room.” It was an amazing day for all, especially my daughter. With the attentive, accommodating, courteous, & friendly staff, the service was impeccable. Many guests commented not only on the staff but on the room itself and its lovely (&different) decor. Comfortable, cozy, yet roomy. Not the usual restaurant or catering hall. The Food was just amazing from the appetizers, to the brunch, to the cake & desserts. Everyone commented. So many said, they couldn’t stop eating. The choices, the home cooking, again, amazing! Just Delicious! And we had so much to bring home as well. Yay! Thanks to Lenny & his staff, my daughter’s little boy’s baby shower was even more special.

Good food, pistachio crusted chicken, skirt steak and roast chicken are favorite meals along with lemon coconut cake for dessert. Portions are generous and I’ve never left without bringing home leftovers. If they have roasted brussel sprouts on menu as special, order it, they’re delicious and should be a regular item on menu.
However, while the quality of their entrees seem high they serve a margarine spread with the bread. Really gross. Have no idea why butter isn’t served, it leads me to question the ingredients in their food.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting with couches and comfortable looking chairs but the chair cushions need to be re-stuffed as they’re as hard as boards and the heights are off compared to tables to eat comfortably.

All in all an enjoyable meal, with slight improvements would have rated it higher.

I love the burgers, buns and the cute little bottles of ketchup. I haven’t dined in as yet. However, it would be very romantic and cozy to do so. I had the Frozen Hot Chocolate once and it was quite tasty sort of like a high quality frosty.

Me and my two friends went there for dessert. We were a little thrown off by couches and the lighting was unsettling, but I would definitely go back. I ordered a chocolate chip sundae and it was delicious! Don’t think my friends were overly pleased by their dishes, but that’s what they get for not sticking to their ways. Anyway, the service was great and not too long of a wait for our orders. It was very cozy yet proper, I can’t wait to try the brownie sundae next visit!

I knew the original owners and they would be very disheartened to know that the new owner is extremely rude and very short with patrons whenever there is a matter of question or dissatisfaction. The prices on a whole I find to be rather exorbitant for what is served and the portion sizes provided. The dine-in coffee cups have definitely gotten smaller in size but inflated in price. The atmosphere is a hodgepodge of estate sale furniture promoting grandeur with a pop of eccentricity. I do keep going back once every year hoping the establishment changed hands.
