I have an allergy to cheese and despite me telling the woman 3 times not to put cheese on my food, my food arrived drenched in cheese! I was only able to eat one item from my order…that item was good. Otherwise, I was very displeased with my service from this deli.
If I could give zero stars for the customer service, I would. Two friends and I went for lunch, and one of my friends found a mid-length dark brown straight hair deep in her food. I brought it to the counter, saying that my friend found a hair in her food.
Well, the person behind the counter looked at the hair and said it was my other friend’s hair. (Her hair is much longer than the hair we found, her hair was tied up, it’s a different color than the hair we found, it’s wavy and not straight, AND she was nowhere near the food when it was being cooked.) I calmly explained that the hair was not hers, AND it was found DEEP in the food (not on the surface where a loose hair could have fallen, hypothetically).
Then the person at the counter got argumentative and called for backup from another worker to argue that the hair wasn’t one of theirs and that it was my friend’s. Then they talked about my friends and I in Spanish, not knowing that I can understand Spanish very well to know that they were blaming us for the hair in my friend’s food, as if we were lying, and decided to do nothing for us. Not once did they apologize for the hair (that was so obviously theirs) in my friend’s food, offer a refund, or offer to make her food again for no extra charge, like anywhere with good customer service would do. We got the feeling that if we asked them to cook it again at that point, they would have spit in it. We threw it away and went elsewhere.
We are irritated and disgusted with our experience here, and we will not be back.
Please, do not come to this place. They just want your money. They served very little food the way they wanted not how I wanted. On top of that they have an attitude when you tell they how do you want the food. They told me that that’s what they serve. In other words, take it or go somewhere else. They really just want your money and give you little food.
I’m pregnant and craving mangu y los tres gorpes like all the time… I’ve neeeever had an issue with customer service and the food always taste good fresh and hot. I love this place and recommend it.
The door was open and the guy didn’t tell me they were closed until I picked up a menu. And the menu says they close at 7pm. I wish I knew why I was denied to eat there since it was 4pm..
