5 Reviews on “Maillard”
Located in the heart of Whitestone, Maillard Coffee Shop is a delightful discovery for coffee aficionados. As soon as you step inside, the tantalizing aroma of freshly roasted beans sets the stage for an unforgettable coffee experience. Their espresso is a true standout, boasting a rich and full-bodied flavor profile that consistently impresses. What sets Maillard apart is their dedication to roasting their own beans, ensuring a level of freshness and quality that’s hard to find elsewhere. The owner, George, offers a personalized touch by crafting unique experimental coffees, like the exceptional African bean brew I had the pleasure of savoring. For those who prefer a sweeter, less bitter coffee, Maillard Coffee Shop’s naturally fermented beans are a must-try. This establishment is a true coffee gem, a destination that promises a delightful journey for your taste buds.
Best freddo espresso I’ve ever had. Authentic Greek coffee, roasted on site. Delicious foods: crepes, açaí bowls, of course, cheese pies and spinach, and so much more. I bring all my friends here for coffee and to hang out for hours. Great atmosphere! I can’t recommend this place enough
Found this place when looking for a new cozy coffee spot. My boyfriend lives in Flushing so this was close enough for us to drive to, and the crepes looked so good. We came in on a cold snowy day, and immediately felt the warmth of fresh coffee and sweet fluffy crepes. We also got a croissant sandwich which was one of our favorite breakfast foods lately. The owner, George, was so friendly, and we spent a while just chatting to him about shared interests and family life.
If you’re looking for a welcoming place to enjoy some great food, yummy coffee, and where you’re supporting a small business instead of a corporation, Maillard is for you. Worth the drive even from Long Island. We’ll be back soon!
The crepes are delicious and the owner is super nice… when get my order to go and is closing time he always gives a cookie on the house. For me the small things count.
I would normally not write a review about a coffee shop, but this place has the best coffee in Queens. It has amazing food at affordable prices. I really liked the atmosphere there too .
