Not a bad store, not a bad town, I appreciate the hospitality and kindness of the strangers there while passing through.<3
They haven’t rearranged any aisles in about 6 mos, except for seasonal items, so it was easy to find everything and it was quick in and out service. They are still pretty limited on choices of items but usually you can find your product but may not be your usual brand.
I really dread going to Walmart, it’s not the shopping, however, if you want a box of dog bones you have to go across the other end of the store, WHY?
Then there’s checking out, the person checking you out is pleasant enough but some want to rearrange your items, I don’t mind, I’m just trying to help out, like I don’t know how to organize.
They like to put one item per bag a lot, this is to make me think I bought a lot 😃. Finally, get out there and you know what it only took 1hr 20min of my time. I get home and I forgot something😳
My encounter with the Walmart bakery department was the worst imaginable. I needed a cake for a baby shower this coming Saturday, so I ordered one, paid for it on Wednesday, and asked to pick it up on Friday night. About 9:00 AM this morning( Friday), I received a call and a text informing me that my order had been canceled. They told me they were not taking any more orders when I asked whether the cake could be ready for Saturday morning. This is very unprofessional, and it put me in a difficult situation because I have one day to locate a cake. Furthermore, the baker I spoke with made no effort to assist me or provide recommendations.
Love Hobby Lobby! You can get just about anything you want for your home or hobby interests, and they’re always running sales. The employees have always been friendly and professional too.
