So have shopped Publix many times in many states but had the wonderful experience of visiting with my daughters kindergarten class. First of all Ashley was the host of our tour and she was wonderful. I saw a side of Publix never had before as usually I’m just shopping for what i need. Truly a wonderful store and many employees have been there a decade or more which says alot!! So impressed.
This store is fantastic. The best part of any business is its people and the team at the Publix is remarkable. From ensuring that the store is clean, well stocked, safe and organized to escorting me to the location of those hard to find items that I happened to walk by without seeing. They do a remarkable job and that is why they are where we shop. The seafood and deli are also noteworthy for the variety of product that they carry. They are definitely worth going out of the way for.
01/23/24 Highly disappointed. I called to see if they had fish on their prepared menu today. The young man answered and said no but voluntarily said he would check if they had a bag and if so they could drop some. They did and he said he would have them drop some and I asked him to hold me a pound of cod fish and he said they would and to just give my name when I came. I arrived and you guess it. Fish not ready. The young man was working in the Deli and said he took my call and was sorry, stating he thought they dropped some. I waited about 10 minutes. The same young man said it will be a few more minutes that they dropped it again to make sure it was done. Well, it was and may I add extra done. I wish he had just said they couldn’t do it.😩 Two stars only because it started out well.
Stoney the assistant customer service manager is the best. My recent store experience he was patient and help me unload my groceries. People never know what may be going on in someone’s life and how their kindness can brighten up their day. Thank you Mr. Stoney for your kindness. I had a rough week and you put a smile on my face 😊 …
We really like Publix for their great food selections, cleanliness, and especially the customer service. However, since adding the self checkouts the shopping experience is not what it use to be. Publix prices reflect the quality, meaning for many items the price is higher than say Walmart. So, if I am going to pay higher prices for services then I don’t want to check myself out. Now you’re lucky if there are two checkout isles open with one of them being express checkout (10 items or less). Please do away with the self checkout and higher more people for the checkout lanes.
