    I was duped by WALMART… I bought the WARRANTY.

    Visiting from Texas. Bought electric scooter for my grandson here in June. Also bought the WARRANTY, never did that before but just in case. Scooter quit working 2 months ago, parents too busy to take it in. Visiting from TX again in Nov., and brought scooter in to exchange under WARRANTY.

    Walmart told me it’s been longer than 90 days so I had to contact some insurance company to get the scooter repaired or replaced, NOT WALMART. The clerk handed me a pamphlet. I told them I didn’t pay an insurance company, I paid Walmart. And I also explained that I could have just used the manufacturer’s warranty if someone else needed to get involved. There was no Insurance Agent at the cash register when I bought the warranty. I never signed for an insurance policy. I thought I was doing business with WALMART. I paid WALMART for a warranty, not some insurance company.

    As you can imagine, I got upset. I’ve never, ever, in my life had a WALMART store refuse to return or exchange an item in the past. But now that I purchased a WARRANTY from WALMART, they refuse to help me.

    I left the scooter there. I’ll do all I can to shop elsewhere from here on out, and you should too. And, learn from me, Don’t ever buy a WALMART WARRANTY; it’s not what you think it should be.

    January 20,2024, I came to this store to get my oil changed around 7:30am and there was this old man by the name of Tony came out and told me they took appointments only. I asked him since when they started taking appointments only, he didn’t answer me and walked away. I always have my oil change with Walmart and was surprised they started taking appointments only so I didn’t believe him and went inside the shop the cashier told me “no, I don’t need an appointment “ Managers at this shop need to monitor your workers, this is another way of losing your customers!!!

    I have been waiting over an hour for a pickup order. I have seen 15 vehicles pull in after me, get their orders, and leave. Now I am the only vehicle here and still do not have the order. I have called the store five times and no one will pick up. I have talked to the associate doing the pickup orders three separate times and still have not received a resolution.

    Every scooter buggy available (6 total) were either inoperable or dead battery. I am physically handicapped and had extreme difficulty navigating this large store without the use of a scooter. Better monitoring for care of these scooters is needed as they are vital for many of your handicapped patrons.

    This walmart is popular and has many of the items you need for moving into a new place, or for stocking up on food. The only improvement I could see is having someone around to give the folks that are not familiar with self checkouts more of a helping hand. Whether that be with a guide at the self checkouts, or with an option of if it someone’s first time using a self checkout or if they are experienced with putting in item codes for fruits and veggies.
