    Used the self checkout and the machine didn’t give me a receipt, thankfully I have the app that shows that I have completed purchase and paid for my 4 items…so I thought. Had to wait in line to have my items scanned by a person to tell me that I was not allowed to leave unless I had a physical receipt and send me to membership services in where there was a huge line of people. Even though the app showed that I had already paid for my items. All I had was 4 items in my cart, I get people are trying to do their job but this isnt helpful, I feel like I was being held hostage over groceries I’ve already paid. Unacceptable!! self check items and club app are supposed to make the whole check out experience easier. If you don’t trust the systems you have placed for your customers such as the scan and go or the Sams app, then place people back as cashiers to check us out so that we don’t have to deal with waiting in line to have a physical receipt scanned to be able to leave. We already waited in line to scan our items and pay and then making another line to verify our purchase. This isnt time saving nor efficient. What is the purpose of the app? What is the purpose of scan and go? What is the purpose of self check outs?

    I have been a member for years and today I did a large curbside order. The items are heavy. The 2 ladies that loaded my items were not only fast and efficient but very pleasant! Thank you!

    Boy when you want a delicious pizza combo with large drink for less than 3$… Sam’s is the only one coming to mind.

    But when you add the word hot, fast, affordable, tasty…

    This is the only place. Period.

    What happens if you want pizza from Sam’s on a weekend day… Forget about it…

    No. Don’t forget about THE APP.
    USE THE APP.
    purchase from the cafe and walk in and walk out.

    It’s the only lifesaver here.

    I have shopped at this location many many times in the past. I had never had any major issues with the cashiers, until today. I usually use self check out but needed to pay with cash today so we went with a cashier. “TAJ” supposely scanned all my items and we paid. Before leaving the register we noticed that the amount we paid just didn’t sound right for all of the items that we had. I let her know that she had actually left off about 5 items. On top of us catching her “mistake”, she wanted us to check which items she did not scan so she could charge us for them. Seriously did not want to do her JOB.
    After we left, the lady at the front checked our receipt and found that again, 1 more item had been left unscanned. At this point i was over it and left the item at the front with the lady. I was not going to go back to pay for 1 item.
    Sam’s needs to do better at training their cashiers and just hire people that actually want to do their job right without making customers feel like they are a inconvenience. Again, her name was “TAJ”. DO BETTR SAM’S CLUB! This is not the kind of people you need at your stores.

    I’m reading all these reviews and I started to do a letter directly to management but I think this has to be shared here also. Mother’s Day weekend I was traveling to Birmingham from out of town (200 miles from home) by myself. I realized my tire was losing pressure and I needed some help. Can I just say after 3 attempts and I won’t go into detail of the places that would NOT help me I was desperate as I needed to get home that night. Will in the Tire/Service department was so kind and helpful! He went above and beyond to help me and make sure I got back on the road safely!! I can’t say enough good things about this young man and his work ethic! Sam’s need to do all they can to keep this hard working young man working for their company he is definitely an asset! Especially in a season where it seems like the majority of workers I’ve come in contact with do not want to put an any effort at their job. This young man took great pride in his job!! I don’t know what Will makes but whatever it is Will deserves a raise!
