Compared to others— Shipley Do-Nuts are EXCELLENT! Their donut dough is light and fluffy but has a much better chew than most donuts. They have a large selection of delicious donuts at a great price. The chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled is my personal favorite. I also love the donut holes! My wife likes the buttermilk donuts, and my kids (less refined palate) like anything with colored icing and sprinkles.
Reasonably priced donuts compared to the ones sold by a chain and they aren’t affected by shrinkflation. Good variety of donuts to choose from and they’re really fresh and filling. If you’re lucky enough, you get coupons in the mail too. Parking can be a bit right in the morning when most folks want fresh donuts.
Always has the best donuts. Love the apple frutters. They are better than any commercialized donuts shop. To bad they are only on Alabama. So when I come from GA I have to get my stash.
Took a 1 hour detour driving home just to go here staff was patient and so funny to interact with will definitely mark this for future visits while traveling nearby
I love donuts, so I am always excited to try new places.
Appearances, the donuts are big and appetizing. Unfortunately, the execution wasn’t as impressive as appearance. 😔
The Bavarian Cream was good but dense. The cream tasted more like vanilla pudding.
Blueberry Cake was dry and didn’t taste very Blueberry.
Apple Fritter was massive, and had a lot of cinnamon, but it was over cooked around the edges. So it was only enjoyable in the center.
Pros: Friendly staff, big selection, opens early
Cons: Donuts weren’t the best
