This seems to be a very popular back woods place, even with the local Sheriffs department. The food could use a little more Southern love, My sister that lives in Florence suggested this place. It was okay! But the decor was spot on. As you can see from the photos. It is an all you can eat place. Folks are very friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for true southern style home cooking, this place should be saved in your GPS! The selection was great. We had fried chicken, fried catfish, chicken and dumplings, steak and gravy with all the fixins. Desserts were equally delicious. It was too difficult to choose between the peach cobbler, coconut chess pie, and banana pudding- so I had all 3!

Hours are limited, so make sure you give yourself driving time and eating time! It is worth the drive (about 12 minutes outside of Florence)

If you love southern country style homemade cooking , this is the place to go . This place is good in so many ways . The food is delicious and rich in flavor , its a buffet style place and its right on the money . They have all the southern style dishes and they all taste delicious and homemade .Their deserts are soo good . Its retro design with delicious food and nice staff . I like the retro items and old school design elements they keep , like in the front there is a gas station pump from 50s or 60s , in the bathroom there are posters of old (70s to 80s) car adds .
    I loved it . Highly Recommended . .

While food was plentiful but mostly “ok” to good, it was overpriced in our opinion. The buffet line included FLIES buzzing around, over, & on food. Fried chicken tasted like it was cooked in same oil as fried fish. Overall, a mediocre dining experience.

It was ok. Most of the food was pretty good. We ate there on Mother’s Day. The dressing was good, we just didn’t like that they added the gravy to the whole batch instead of letting people add gravy only if they wanted it. My mama dug around in the chicken and dumplings which was just gravy and found a single dumpling. Good fried catfish. Service was good even though they were packed. They recently went up on price, I don’t think the food is good enough we’d go back for that price, but a lot of people really love it, and it is all you can eat, so it’s not a terrible deal.
