This place is so ratchet. The staff is so rude, especially Shai. I have dealt with them the bulk of the time I have went and they are always rude. This most recent time – my drink was wrong and nasty. My sandwich was burned but also tasted soggy like it had been microwaved. I threw everything i bought away because it was not edible. I wish Starbucks was here instead.
This story may take the cake on all 1 star Dunkin Donut (Carl T Jones) Reviews. This morning at 8:25 en route to work I stop to get my medium hot coffee. I have been a frequent customer since this storefront opened its doors. I have seen the mixture of both lazy or energetic teens and then the WORST of them all, the burnt out service industry workers.
As I am pulling up to the drive thru. I observe the employee parking lot. There is only ONE car in this lot. The second observation is a black girl wearing her Dunkin’ sweatshirt with NO head piece/microphone. She proceeded to head toward the “staff only” back door into the building. I pull up to the speaker, naively, thinking this girl would do her job(that she applied for) and take my order. The automatic greeting comes on about having a mobile order. I respond “no” and then proceed to say “hello!” and wait for another 5 min. I watched 5 cars pile up behind me. I got so fed up with this storefront failing to be attentive I drove slowly past the drive thru window (didn’t see the girl at the register) and drive to the front of the store. The LIGHTS WERE OFF AND DOOR LOCKED. Now it is 8:30 A.M. !!!!!
Dunkin opens at 6 A.M. There should not have been one worker with the amount of volume this store receives. I can understand if the girl was poorly trained, everyone else called out or she didn’t know what to do. But this was 2 and a half hours AFTER they are open. Failure on her part to not do anything. Here’s a piece of advice for the young lady “inaction is not an action.” Likely she will or already quit her job. That’s what most all of the entitled teens do.
As I attach this photo, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that all 5 cars behind me drove off as well. We were surely not the only ones! This privately owned franchise lost an astronomical amount of money. Mornings are their busiest rush!
“America runs on Dunkin” is their slogan and ironically America went to work without coffee.
I come here often. It’s always got what other locations lack food wise. This time we got two large iced caramel mocha lattes. I want white chocolate but I they don’t have that flavor. I swear I’ve often gotten it there. But regardless it was delicious. I took a star off because the service is just tolerable. They need more training but they are still friendly.
i went there not even 10 mins ago (not sure why cause i never have a good experience here) i ordered a large caramel iced coffee with almond milk and 3 liquid sugars and 4 caramel swirls. this is my order EVERY TIME. i got my drink and it had 4 creams and no sugar, i nicely asked for a remake. i got my second drink and it was just coffee, the sticker said it had cream again and almond milk but you can tell by the color and the taste they added NOTHING TO IT. i then sent my bf to see if they would just add the missing ingredients. she began to give him an attitude and say her manager said no more remakes. so i left defeated with a coffee that tastes disgusting… not thrilled with my experience here ever but it’s the closest one around me.
Leah was a breathe of fresh air! She was kind and quick to get us our items. The food I ordered was discontinued and she replaced it with my preference (same price), and was very understanding with her apology. Wish more places had customer service like her! The coffee unfortunately, wasn’t sweet like she was. Bet if she had made them they would’ve been. 😅😂
