Great shopping experience. The produce and deli staff were very helpful. They both gave useful information with a smile. Wonderful to see staff give good customer service. The cashier greeted me, and checking out was effortless.
It was my first and last visit. However, the gentleman who walked me to the sushi area was the epitome of the experience I’m use to having when shopping with Publix. When I arrived at the Sushi Bar, the person working the Seafood area deemed it necessary to tell me, “What you asking for isn’t $5.00.” Please be advised, before I made my order, I made it very clear I understood it wasn’t $5.00.
I also understood it was Valentine’s Day. The bakery department was extremely busy. It was only one person working. She was kind, patient, professional, friendly, and willing to assist the customers. I asked for two dozen chocolate strawberries. She stated, “ I will have to make them.” I agree to wait. She goes to get another co-worker to assist with cake writing. She informs her of the tasks at hand which includes the two dozen chocolate covered strawberries for me. The co-worker states, “It’s time for your lunch break. You can’t do them. She can get them from over there.” The co-worker looks at me while pointing. Please be advised, there weren’t any chocolate covered strawberries left. I conveyed the message to both employees. There were six left in the display. I took those for purchase. However, they weren’t presentable for my ninety eight year old grandma and mother.
I’ve never experienced this before from a Publix. I refuse to blame it on Valentine’s Day. Please do better.
Store was fully Stocked. The meat dept went out of there way to look in the back for what I wanted (spare ribs) Jane the cashier was helpful telling me which Isle the candy was on. The cashier that was free asked me if I would go to another cashier. No explanation. I was in a hurry so I went back to Jane the cashier and she kindly checked me out
The worst fried chicken, taste burnt, look hard. Green beans taste straight from the can, no rinsing of the can water to refresh them. Chilli was delicious. Everything else was a waste of my time and money and if I wasn’t having a sick day I would take it right back. Chicken and beans taste horrible and chicken has too much salt
I had a strange request for the floral department but they were more than happy to help me every step of the way. I believe he is the floral department manager named “Andrew.” He was able to help me with it and made some special accommodations as well. I would recommend shopping here!
