I was running late and needed to grab something quick. The Pastry Shop did not disappoint! After asking me a few questions, he quickly helped me decide these pretty petit fours would do the trick! I will most definitely be back!
Pastry not bakery shop. Elegant and hand made items. Sara described every item there in detail. They have pride in their craft. Price shows, but worth it! Fluffy flaky croissants! Made to order cakes. Rum balls. Larger items.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Pastry Shop. The ladies were so friendly and helpful. The deserts were amazing layers of flavor in each bite. True artisan creations. This is a gem of a shop that you just must experience.
Before ordering my fondant cake I specifically stated I did not want a dry cake . I paid close to $200 for my cake and it was not only dry but tasted terrible! No one could stand to take more than one bite. This was so disappointing and a waste of my money and my event. I called & left a message for a return call & never received a call back. This was my first & last time ordering with this shop.
I don’t know why in the world I haven’t left a review, but it’s definitely deserved. It’s unfortunate that only 5 stars is the max.
They made our wedding cake and it was 10,000% perfect. The top tier portion that we saved (froze) for a year later was every bit as good.
I’ve also ordered birthday cakes and a few other random occasions, and it’s never been anything short of perfect.
My only wish is, is that I wasn’t all the way on the other side of Mobile and can’t stop by randomly for the pastry selections.
