5 Reviews on “Stacks Espresso Bar”
Just as good as their other spots. The wait is a little long, needs more staff. I believe this can be a popular place. Menu is themed after Alice in Wonderland. Coffee is on point. Stacks is definitely a top 5 Capital District coffee shop.
The perfect spot to set up your office or study time. It is quiet, great natural lighting, delicious beverages and they even have couple of private rooms for meetings.
I highly recommend it if you want to change your office view or even have some me time for reading or projects. Keep in mind they close at 3pm.
Also the staff is super friendly.
Parking won’t be an issue.
I don’t recommend this place either. I had a bad experience with a duo who thought it was ok to have their baby cart blocking the aisle where people enter. It was uncomfortable as someone with curves. Even thin people had to squeeze by and press against the glass wall to get by. I should of walked out but I was with someone. It really upset me how parents can be so disrespectful . The child looked more than old enough to walk. The stroller was stuffed with clothes and blocking the aisle and I’m sure the male of the duo sensed my frustration since the female was focused on her food and nothing else. Not only does that ruin the atmosphere but my day. I was over it and wanted to leave.
The food and drinks were good but they were on the pricer side. The coffee scene in Albany is non existent. It’s either too crowded or a far drive fir subpar coffee. I like to support small businesses but this makes one rethink.
I’m so happy that Stacks opened this location off Wolf road. I’m around here a lot and almost always in the mood for Cold Brew, and Stacks makes a solid batch of that! A plus is that this location has a food menu with some vegan and vegetarian options. Added with the great atmosphere and FANTASTIC customer service, they did everything right here!
Long, long wait. Asked for bagel to be untoasted. It was toasted resulting in drippy cream cheese. Salmon cream cheese was lacking salmon and they didn’t respect the schmear! Paid $2.50 for avocado which was never received. Asked for almond milk. They gave me oat milk. The Albany location is way better. Won’t be back.
