Burger meat isn’t what I’d expect from a beef joint, but it was OK. Everything else is pretty good. That said, the fried tenders are also a bit salty.
Our server was incredibly present and helpful. He smiled off the mess being made on the floor by my infant twins, and he made sure the drinks stayed full.
It took a while to seat us. A party of 15.
Everything was good except for two of our steaks. I wanted medium rare. They cooked two both were well done. The manager then had to prepare one to show the staff how to cook it properly. And that he did. It was perfect but too late, to eat we were on cake & wine by the time my dinner was done. He allowed me to take it home. I was grateful but still hungry. My shrimps and rice arrived late. The waitress forgot that part of my order. The shrimp appetizer & hot bread was great I must say.
Im usually not a person to complain. However my husband and I hardly ever have date night because we don’t usually get a sitter. We finally did and I suggested Longhorn. I have been wanting their lamb chops for so long. We get there we are seated immediately. Our waitress she just seemed like she was in a rush like she was about to get off the clock. She never came back to ask if we wanted refills. My husband said their dishes were dirty. I was trying to be optimistic. The presentation of the food was horrible like the food was thrown on the plates. We went around 7 they don’t close til 11. I regret wanting to go there and regret just not leaving when they gave us dirty bread plates.
It’s a chain so it’s never going to be the best. But the food is good for what it is. The waiter last time we went wasn’t very attentive and never came back to refill drinks or check on us. Normally we go later in the evening but we were there around 4 that day for a late lunch/early dinner. It wasn’t super busy so we weren’t sure what the waiter was sobusy with. Will give it a try again another time because it’s close by and convenient. The food is usually hit or miss depending on which cook is in the kitchen
Another LongHorn Steakhouse was a little pricy but well worth it! Steak was more than delicious, sweet potato was like a desert, bread warm and delicious. Service was from a trainee who with mentor could not have provided better service. A real go to place for me with guests!
