Don’t except anything pretty like the artisan places around. This is a traditional diner with that feeling still there. It serves a small gathering but wait times to be seated doesn’t appear to be long. Nicole was our server and she was very nice. **IT IS cash only so be prepared when going.**
This little cash only place is a great find. The staff are all family. Friendly, and quick service. Your plate will be over flowing with the taste of the old fashion cooking. Definitely recommended to stop and eat here.
A perfect family owned diner tucked away in Albany. We were up for the NLL game visiting from Buffalo and decided to go after reading the reviews and it’s just as good as everyone says. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was super friendly! An authentic diner experience
Amazing service and really cute, homey vibes. stopped by here while passing through albany. This is a true mom and pop shop. I wanted the blueberry pancakes and the waitress offered short stack to me which was even better bc 3 was too many for me. Remember its Cash only! Definitely worth it to make a stop here!! Highly recommend!
Been to many diners but always find myself crawling back to Dans Place, incredible place where over time, they know your name, your order, your favorite drink, it’s awesome. Not to mention the food’s delicious and it’s pretty cheap as well. Do yourself a favor and get some food here
