Had a fantastic experience here. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the food was delicious! The staff was really sweet and really seem to care about their customers experience. Another plus for those dining in is that there is a ton of space in the restaurant, the tables are spaced enough so that you won’t feel crowded. This is a huge plus for me.
For an appetizer we got the Taiwanese Fried Chicken which we really loved. It really reminded me of the popcorn chicken you can get at night markets in Taiwan. Very crispy with a nice peppery flavor. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and I really loved it. The pork has a really delicious grilled Smokey flavor and the soup base had notes of seaweed which I really loved. My wife ordered Mala beef slices rice noodles which was also fantastic and has a really authentic Chinese flavor. It was a somewhat spicy with a Sichuan peppercorn flavor. We also got the lemon green tea and it was so refreshing. Really great taste and has some jelly in it that added some flavor and texture. I loved this drink so much I almost went back later that night after doing some shopping at cross gates. My wife and I will definitely be coming back. If you want authentic Chinese flavor and great service I would definitely recommend it!
Amazing Asian cuisine and impeccable hospitality at Ji Bei Chuan! The menu offers a delightful array of authentic dishes, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness make dining here a truly memorable experience. A must-visit for foodies 😊
Mala Fish Slices Rice Noodles: Very generous portions with the perfect amount of spiciness, lots of vegetables & noodles and the soft fish fillets paired perfectly with the broth.
The Taiwanese fried chicken was also a 10/10! They somehow fried the chicken flawlessly with the appropriate amount of crunchiness and seasoning. It tasted good alone and with the sauce (I think it was sweet chili?) provided as well. I wish I had a photo of it, but I stomach got to it before my camera.
New place, our first time there (BFF and myself). We were greeted immediately and seated. The girls who were working that night are sisters, and both were so sweet. We started with boba milk tea, seaweed salad, and edamame, and went on to rice-noodle seafood ramen bowls. Both of us were quite happy with our meals and we will definitely be back!
Delicious food, friendly staff, a chill Tuesday night… Couldn’t ask for any more.
