    I was very happy with the food here. The lady at the register was super nice and recommended the fried chicken and collard greens and I got the mashed potatoes too – and it was delightful! Definitely great chicken. It also came with this hot sauce that was really good too. Clean inside, the staff was all nice, and the food was great. I will definitely be going back

    Beautiful place in a great area. Pretty organized; you can order online or come inside and use their system inside to order. The Peach 🍑 Tea was very good. I’m a foodie so I tried a few dish all of which were amazing.. I’m from the south n this food meets my approval for soulfood. I’d 1000% recommend giving this place a try. My favorite was the Steak, Mac n cheese, collard greens and yams with a giant soft sweet piece of cornbread 😋 👌

    This was our first time @ Kitchen 216.
    The staff welcomed us & were very friendly despite being busy.
    The food was prepared to order.
    We went with the following meals; sweet jerk & teriyaki baked chicken, fried chicken & fried shrimp. Our sides were Mac & cheese, candied yams and corn bread. Everything tasted Delicious!
    We will be back to have the collard greens as with this trip they were all out.
    Definitely a hidden gem in the 518!! ☺️

    So you know I had to go back and get something different and when I tell you there’s something different every day I mean it but oh my gosh that sweet jerk sauce with the fried shrimp went perfect. I love the owners attitude. I love her aura. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant everybody who works there so pleasant good vibes all around and the food is amazing. I love how personable she is and how easy it is to talk to her, that’s how it should be. Thank you thank you thank you for y’all hospitality I appreciate you all. Can’t wait to purchase that sweet jerk sauce in a bottle. Golden 🤩🤩

    I’ve eaten here 3 times this summer. The food is extremely good and not outrageously priced, i feel bad for the owner for the lack of quality help. Extremely nice and polite gentleman who is possibly the owner or manager but he frequently has odd hours or is not able to get food out in a timely fashion due to understaffing. It makes me sad because this place is a hidden gem in the Albany area. I’m not from the Albany area but I work out here so finding a good spot to eat is clutch but limited time off restricts choices. I really hope they resolve the issue because this place is fantastic
