First visit to Stickies.
I kept hearing rumors about the wings here so I had to check it out myself.
I placed an order for 20 wings: half fried, half with the house “Sticky” sauce. My order was promptly and freshly made.
Verdict: YES!
Juicy, perfect crunchiness, well-balanced seasoning. Amazing balance of sweet and savory. I found myself grasping for more of the sauce for the half of wings I ordered fried regularly.
My only problem now is that I will have to redo my budget to include these wings for my weekly lunch.
The current location is on Washington Avenue near the intersection of Lark Street. If you know the area you will find on street parking. Sometimes you will see cars double parked because that is the nature of Washington Avenue.
And the staff were friendly and conversation was easy. I am very heartened by The uprising of black businesses in Albany. As a lifelong Albany resident I am excited to have access to such great wings.
I didn’t try any of the sides because I was there for wings. On my next visit I will try out some of the sides. As far as the wings I have to say five stars.
Not to mention I brought some over to my mom who is the absolute best cook in Albany and she approves.

This was my first time here the owner was very nice 😊 and let me vent the strawberry lemonade is fire 🔥 and I loved the stickie wings with the stickie sauce!!! Next time I come definitely gotta try the banana pudding glad I was put on to this place will be back again …
Lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful. Not to mention….as soon as you walk in the smells make your mouth water. Food was perfectly packaged and stayed warm during our route home which was roughly 25 mins. The food was AMAZING. I have never heard my daughter so quiet, she didn’t even want her iPad. She was ALL ABOUT THAT FOOD. Will definitely be a repeat customer!
A 5-STAR wing shop hinder by unfortunate circumstances. I was greeted by a very friendly business owner who displayed a very caring demeanor towards her business and customers. After explaining her situation with the landlord she proceeded to tell me the menu, which she had just ran out. I decided to order a 10 piece dressed in their signature sticky sauce. It only took 5 minutes and i was sitting down opening the box of wings, and when i tell you it burned my eyes as the fresh steam rose up, i could not have asked for a better choice of sauce. The wings where MASSIVE, which seem to be a rarity in todays wing shops. Everything was as fresh as can be. The wings were crispy on the outside, perfectly cook inside, and dressed in the perfect amount of sauce. They were spicy enough to call them hot without overdoing it and ruining the experience. By the end i was more than satisfy. Like i said in the beginning, this is a potential 5 star place if it wasn’t for the place itself. The owner explained that they’re in the process of moving so that would explain the single table. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a quick stop for some delicious wings, but not for a large group. I wish you guys the best in the future.
