We had a quick late dinner – arriving at 8p ( they close at 9p). The salads are pretty good here – nice portions, fresh ingredients…cobb salad and side of dolmas- very good! The burger was just as ordered – perfectly crisp bacon….the onion rings were so crunchy and delicious! The coffee was nice and strong too! I love a good diner and have to add this one to my go to list.
I used to go here all the time. I was charged extra on my card so I called them to clear it up as I was sure it was a mistake – the lady on the phone was extremely rude and raised her voice at me saying that there is no way they can keep track of all their charges because so many people come in. That’s a funny way to run a business. She told me I would have to come in to show the receipt (which I have) because apparently they cannot fix a simple card charge error over the phone even with all the details of the receipt. I calmly told her she doesn’t have to have an attitude with me as I’m just trying to explain what happened – she then interrupted me and raised her voice with me even more. They can keep the extra charge and lose my future business – this is no way to treat a customer, especially one who has been coming for years. There are plenty of other diners and restaurants in the area that I would be happy to go to.
Wednesday night skirt steak special. Steak was cooked perfectly. I went with the mashed potatoes in lieu of the baked potato and liked them. Server was polite and attentive. Menu seemed a bit pricy for certain things but I look forward to trying a few more things.
