We grabbed an iced mint latte and a hot vanilla latte here this morning. Staff was friendly and efficient. The place is cash only so be sure to have about $10 for 2 lattes! You could also order breakfast here and it looked good! My only complaint was that they eyeballed the measurements for the syrup so mine was a bit too sweet.
I went in for a chai latte and decided to get a quiche. Thought I was getting the usual tiny slice that most places serve. I was served a yummy huge single serve quiche. Very tasty.
Latte was not a latte, ordered one and was given a syrup mix with milk (unless it was old stored espresso in a syrup flavor jar)
Basically a latte is a double espresso with frothed milk of choice, flavors optional.
I watched them make a “drink”.
The espresso machine wasn’t even running (they have one, it just wasn’t on, nor did they mention that)
They then proceeded to pour a syrup from a flavor jar (whatever that was is unknown) then add milk… Either the person serving was unaware of what a latte is or just didn’t care (there was only one person working)
Anyway if you’re looking for coffee, don’t bother.
Fantastic breakfast spot. The beverages are so good. Had the quiche special and it was delicious. Also tried a chocolate cheesecake muffin…to die for. I’m definitely stopping back for more before leaving town.
Drinks were flavorful and tasty! Had the fresh “French Onion Quiche”. It was awesome. Will definitely get it again. Also, the GF Bun for a ham, egg, and cheddar breakfast sandwich was delicious! Highly recommend!
