Food was cheap and tasted freshly made. I only had a ham sandwich while meeting with a friend but the coffee was good, the staff was fine with us sitting and talking for a few hours. And you may ask ‘how can one mess up a sandwich?’ but I’ve seen it and done it myself. The price was very affordable, and the decor was neat, lots to read on the tables.
Great super-laid back place to eat. It’s where the locals go! Delicious food, as well as a wonderful tribute to our American heroes with all of its World War memorabilia. Definitely a great place to go if you want to experience small-town American flavor.
One of the last truly down home, main street eateries I’ve ever been to. I almost don’t want to post anything about it so as to keep it the hidden gem that it is. Locals, war vets and good eats is what this place serves up in spades. Nothing fancy on the menu, except good food, cooked right. Plenty of memorabilia on the walls to keep you interested and talking over a bottomless cup of coffee. Wait staff couldn’t be friendlier and the prices are amazing.
We have been dining there for as long as they have been open. Even though their hours have changed, their dinner menu has only improved. The Sea Breeze salad was lovely and the fish done well
Corned Beef and Cabbage could be cut with a fork. Come back to the Homefront!!!!
What an amazing place! A true treasure trove of great artifacts & a history buff’s dream…. with good food. I come from PA to visit friends every year & this is a mandatory stop while we’re nearby.
