Great place to go eat, everything was outstanding. No complaints, the cocktails were very good as well. I went to just eat but thinking about coming to stay next time.
Ps: I’ve been back several times since my initial review and it’s great every-time. Please try the venison chops and the French onion soup. I updated photos as well
We had good service and the place is nice….I would increase my rating if the food was a bit better. Not saying it’s bad at all, but for the price (not complaining about price but I want to pay more and get more) It’s a little lacking.
I got the venison chops medium rare and they came out medium +…not the end of the world but the mashed I got as my side was pretty bland and dry as anything. The grilled veggies were ok but a little under seasoned as well.
My wifes lobster roll was absolutely dreadful. The bread was like a thick cut hotdog bun and the meat was overcooked as anything and lacking flavor… didn’t seem like they used real butter either.
The French onion soup was pretty good and seemed fresh. The Ceasar salad was mediocre because the greens weren’t super crisp and it just seemed half heartedly put together…. possibly because we were the last table of the night?
Overall as locals, we want to give it another try and are hoping to have an awesome experience !
Had the special appetizers (duck wings & Korean BBQ ahi sliders) as well as the special dinner (queen cut prime rib). Everything was very tasty, but the wings were outstanding
We’re staying at the lodge and tried to order food from the restaurant. We were told there were no reservations available for the entire day, no worries we’ll just order and eat it in our room. I call later to order and nobody answers so we have to walk down and order in person. I order and they say they’ll call my room when it’s ready. An hour and a half later with no call I go down to the restaurant and ask about my food… THEY NEVER EVEN STARTED IT.
I now have two kids starving in my room and their only response was “Oh yeah, sorry, we’ll put that in now”. I didn’t need to re-state the order because they had the order, they just never started it.
For context some folks who ordered at the same time as me had their order ready and never received a call, they had to just go and check to figure out their food had been ready and sitting there for a while.
It’s been almost 2 hrs and I have yet to receive my food.
:Update: After waiting at the front station (in the photo) for 45 minutes they gave me my order and I paid. Halfway back to my room I noticed ITS NOT MY ORDER. I just paid for someone else’s order and after going back and talking to what seems to be the manager they STILL haven’t started my order… this is insane.
:Update 2: Right when I got back to my room they called me to say they “found” my order. I’m now eating a luke warm, FULL PRICE burger. That’s right, 3+ hours of nonsense and they still charged me full price, no offer of a drink while I stood there and waited, no attempt to so customer service at all. This restaurant is a joke at the expense of the people staying here. If I could give it 0 stars I absolutely would, worse customer service than McDonalds.
So we had a reservation. Went in. Wasn’t dressed like most guests so we were overlooked as customers. One waitress spent the whole 10 minutes we stood there never acknowledging our presence. We sat down on the couch and another waitress carrying menus walked right by never looking in our direction. So we stood up and left. Just because some people aren’t so dressed up doesn’t mean they should be overlooked.
