Been coming to this restaurant for my whole life and it’s always been great. I would definitely recommend the Modern Snack Bar to somebody who’s looking for a good consistent meal, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.
Nice staff clean place and great food. The portions are great and the pies to die for. We will definitely be returning.
It’s like stepping back in time when you walk in. Food is good and consistent. Pies are excellent. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area.
This is a good restaurant with a varied menu. The atmosphere is quite homey and inviting, and the service is excellent. The food overall is good, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the coleslaw. It’s likely a personal preference, though, and everything else I tried was good.
Cool classic old school “diner”. Food was well prepared. Staff was super friendly. Loved my soft shell crab and fried clam strips. [Two things most places do poorly]. Will go here every chance I get .
