Update:
Well, seems a different chef from years ago when i didn’t enjoy the food. As an Asian descent, I know good Asian food. I am really so hungry and have no time to go to my go to Chinese place so I ventured back to David Chen to give it a try. I am glad I did. Their beef chow mei fun is spot on. And for Armonk, price is reasonable. Humongous serving size too plus soup included. Important to mention , it’s not swimming in oil . Highly recommended.

5 star for overall experience. I ordered my favorite chicken pan fried noodle and though taste isn’t exactly I was used to , I enjoyed it a lot. Also, the size was humongous. Price was very reasonable. I was served tea with the biggest tea pitcher and ambiance was nice… like the traditional Chinese restaurant with big chandelier. Both owner and staff were very nice. Highly recommended.
David Chen’s is a staple for American-Chinese food. Always fast and friendly service — free tea and fried chips. Extremely large menu selection with reasonable prices. Great lunch special too.
David Chens has become a mainstay in the area. It’s been around for over 30 years and it’s some of the best Chinese in the area. Food is great. Service is quick if not a bit curmudgeonly and it has a great ambience. They should clean the fish tanks though!
Try the pork and shrimp dumplings!
Service SUCKED! I waited forever, food came; wanted duck sauce. By the time waiter came back food was cold.
Heat doesn’t work too well I was freezing. Not to mention the ceiling looks like it’s coming down. Close this dump and do a little renovation While you’re at it theirs plenty of people looking to work. Get a staff that pays better attention to their customer/client.
I swear if I treated people like this I’d be out of business.
Horrible! Two entrees were bad . Overcooked burnt beef and broccoli raw. Explained to staff and they were rude and refused to acknowledge it. Will not return – food and service continually going down over the years.
