Shoutout to Cheap Eats on YouTube for the recommendation. High-quality pizza here. Soft on the top, crunchy on the bottom. Definitely my new go-to spot when I’m in the area. Cash only.
I can’t believe I’m late to reviewing this place. Astoria staple in my opinion. Definition of modest mom & pop shop. A nice crispy slice. Great cheese/sauce ratio. It’ll run u $3 but it’s worth it.
Samaria Pizza reminds me of pizza I had growing up in East Harlem. We lived in a predominantly Sicilian neighborhood and when I visited for the first time it felt like a blast from the past. The owner is such a lovely lady who greets you by calling you “friend” and is so sweet. The entire vibe in there is relaxing and inviting. Best mushroom pizza I’ve tasted in decades. They also have many other delicious items on their menu. Best place for the entire family. I recommend this spot.
Best meatball parm hero in the neighborhood! I tried it for the first time yesterday and was surprised how good it was. The bread wasn’t too dense, soft inside, crispy outside, meatballs and sauce were flavorful and you can’t beat the price. 😃
I’ve been coming to this pizza spot since I was a kid and we still come here decades later . It feels like home away from home with familiar faces. They treat you like family. The pizza still taste the same unlike other spots in the area that have altered their recipe. Each slice has the right amount of sauce, cheese and crust to make it just perfect. My family and friends grab a slice or two or even a pie once maybe twice a week. Thank you for having such yummy pizza
