This is a good place with good food. Black owned soul food in the bronx is HARD to come by, so i was rooting for this place. I went towards the end of the night, got jerk and bbq chicken, greens, macaroni and cheese and potato salad with a half and half. It was all Good. Okay, Let’s tawk about this meal. Absolutely DELICIOUS. The chicken was well well seasoned, the yams were perfect and the Mac and cheese was great! The perfect example of Soul food right here in the Bronx! I always order from here but tonight’s order was something to post about. Ms Tessy!! And crew Thank you for the wonderful food! I’ll definitely will be back again of course!!
Ive been to this place multiple times but today was the worst.. greeted by a woman ive never seen before, and all i wanted today was the banana pudding. Its kinda expensive at 7 plus dollars, but the portion has always been on point.. usually they are already in the plastic container otherwise they have to dish it out, well she dished out wayy less than ive ever got and she stated its her place and whoever’s been doing it, is doing it wrong … it doesnt take much for me to stop giving a business my money, and this may be it.
Good vibes, its clean, music was ole school, the staff was warm and friendly. The food was hot and delicious great portions. That banana pudding yeah that’s Granny’s favorite.
I was full and had an amazing time.
Suggestion get a liquor license that will seal the deal🐾💚
Just want everyone to know they really put love into their food. I won’t eat fried chicken anywhere else because it’s always seasoned right, crispy and done right over here. I love how consistent they are every time and they’re always friendly when I walk in!! Thank you very much.
