Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.
I really wasn’t expecting 6.3 cubic yards of icecream on a cone when I got a large, but OK!
The Bopper burger was good too. I know that I just ate a jillion calories and will probably want to nap soon.
Accidently found this place while out. I’ll likely be back with my partner. It’s truly a gem.
They offer a wrapped gluten-free bun (you add the burger to the bun). Highly recommend if you’re celiac or gluten-free. The ice cream servings are huge, fair warning, a small will probably do the trick! Haha. The staff serving that night commented how they love witnessing customers’ reactions when they see what a “medium” or “large” soft serve look like. They provided a fountain beverage cup just in case, so the ice cream wouldn’t tumble to the ground! It was great fun!
Very nice place. Counter person was polite; atmosphere—fifties retro—clean and comfortable; food well prepared and tasty. Portions were right size—not too big or small. Perfect for two people. Bonus: nice outdoor picnic table set up for us and our dog. We highly recommend this place if you want good service and plain, clean no-frills place.
Food was good but I wasn’t fully impressed. My daughter & I picked out 2 burger meals and a side of cheese curds & the total was a little over $40. After the sticker shock we at our burgers & she said her bacon cheeseburger was good but my mushroom swiss burger was a bit disappointing. I don’t think they put any sauce on it but if they did then it didn’t have any flavor & the mushrooms were from a can Gross! Little tip to the owner but if you want to kick it up a notch then use some sauce & fresh sauteed mushrooms & I think you’ll have a phenomenal burger. I also didn’t care for the fries a they’re thick crinkle cut fries & I’m more of a crispy less mush fry but that’s my personal opinion & the fries were good for the type they are. I will say that service was fast & friendly & I do think they have delicious root beer & white cheese cheese curds.
